I am a city girl at heart. I love to travel to Britains best cities. Many people consider cities to offer a cultural experience however in my opinion Britains cities are home to some of the finest shopping in the world. There is no better adrenaline rush than searching for new items in stores you have never been in before. It is fun to look for that one of a kind piece that no one may own. Also you never know what kind of bargain their city might have that your city might not have. The whole process is exhilarating. If I am honest I plan my vacations around the shopping. Shopping to me is an art. It is my first priority on a trip. It is not something to get out of the way it is something to experience and then I move on to the other sites. My most recent trip to Yorkshire had so many great shopping locations. If you are going there let me recommend the following areas to stop at.

Barnsley. Rural villages surround this area. Once you are done with your shopping you can enjoy the unique restaurants and pubs that Barnsley has to offer. Also the area has a lot of entertainment. Hlifax. You will want to visit the Borough Market. After you spend time shopping there visit the towns amazing architecture the galleried Piece Hall Shibden Hall and Eureka! The Museum for Children.

Hull. This is a great place to shop and enjoy beauty. It is a waterfront city with a relaxing atmosphere. After you shop enjoy the nightlife. Leeds. Very fastpaced buzzing city with lots of shops. When you are tired the countryside is right next door. Whitby. There are a few shops here. The city is famous for its heritage.

Another great idea is to pick up a travel guide once you get to Yorkshire. Everyone has different shopping tastes. This way you can tailor your shopping towards the type of stores you would most like to visit. Also the guide will help you to know which shops are the most popular and why.
